Our clients own a gastropub and dining rooms sits in picturesque greenbelt land at the heart of Mill Hill Village (London, NW7) and features a fresh, seasonal and wherever possible locally sourced monthly changing A la Carte menu and an excellent value set menu.
To complement these, they have an extensive global wine list alongside six real ales on tap and a selection of lagers and ciders. They have a formal dining room upstairs and casual gastro bar food downstairs along with for the summer months a charming walled garden with seating.
They are looking for a talented Head Chef who is able to deliver the fine dining food to a rosette standards, as well as the bar food. With two kitchens (one upstairs for fine dining plus one downstairs) you will need to be very organised, diligent and able to ensure your staff are motivated even when you are not in the kitchen. You will also need to demonstrate a good understanding of margins and GP and how you have managed these in the past.
