Lead a team to design and deliver critical business insight and Management Information (MI) across the whole range of key operational areas including Training and Competence monitoring, network productivity, sales optimisation, telephony activity and efficiency.
Working with senior management you will define and drive the businesses’ Insight and MI requirements to enable the delivery of organisational objectives. You will advise on areas of focus, propose developments and opportunities and highlight gaps to be addressed.
Responsible for the e-learning and Training & Competence system; driving it’s continual development to meet changing business and regulatory requirements. Ensuring this business critical system enables Enterprises to meet and monitor T&C requirements and controls, satisfy FCA regulations and ultimately ensure good customer outcomes.
Responsible for the team’s successful delivery of all Training Operations in line with T&C requirements. This includes the organisation of every aspect of national, regional and local training initiatives and events. Responsible for the management of the budget for these activities. Management of key stakeholder relationships, internally and externally.
Responsible for implementing, and team adherence to, robust procedures to ensure that T&C requirements are met at all times and risk of customer detriment is managed. Identify risks surrounding change and contribute to the development of a strategy to overcome or address these. In addition you will identify/ evaluate benefits and critical success factors and present to senior management

Experience in a Financial Services (FCA regulated) environment particularly with involvement in Training and Competence
Experience of implementing and managing web based systems Considerable experience of managing and motivating a diverse team Experienced in operational and supplier management Experience in leading a Management Information / Insight function Used to consulting with and working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders / providers Ability to manage system and operational related projects involving key stakeholders |
Ability to quickly interpret business needs and shape business MI and Insight requirements to enable the delivery of key objectives, including necessary evidence that T&C controls are in place, effective and delivering positive customer outcomes Used to delivering change and continuous improvement Excellent people management skills, ability to effectively utilise the extensive knowledge in the team, keep them motivated and empowered. Strong problem solving ability. Quickly able to establish what options are available to achieve changing organisational objectives and to make an informed, pragmatic decision on the most effective course of action Proactive, positive and flexible PRINCE2 qualification would be an advantage |
