Bailey Finch Associates are delighted to assist our client with the role of Associate Director of Compliance
The Associate Director of Compliance will monitor changes to laws and regulations to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and mandates. This individual will establish and implement standard policies, procedures, processes and best practices across our client to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. The Director will oversee a team that conducts state-specific legal research and monitor changes to requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance. Will also support the collection of data for regulatory filings, coordinate and develop reports, projects, and assessment tools to verify compliance. They will develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution for a business.
Other responsibilities:
• Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff.
• Develop, implements and maintains the compliance program within the organisation in order to ensure that they are meeting company guidelines and CMS requirements.
• Responsible for managing compliance for the Billing, Enrollment, Reconciliation and Call Centre functions within Operations in partnership with the business leaders.
• Experience and demonstrated leadership in with a multinational corporation or International Compliance
• A background in the UK regulatory environment required. Preference given to NHS experience
• Experience implementing a corporate governance program. .
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required, post-graduate degree preferred. Degree required; post-graduate degree (LLB) preferred or equivalent designation in the UK
• 5+ years of experience in a regulatory/compliance environment required.
• 3+ years of healthcare operations experience in billing, enrollment, reconciliation and/or call centre.
• 5+ years’ experience leading and implementing a comprehensive compliance program.
• 5+ years supervisory experience
• 3+ years’ experience with HIPAA, state and international privacy laws.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Functions highly independently and with little to no day-to-day work direction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and influence in a large, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams to deliver operational compliance.
• Proven ability to think strategically and to translate strategic directives into tactical initiatives.
• Adept at understanding complex concepts and situations presented by the business environment
