Head Chef

Bailey Finch are delighted to assist their client with the role of Head Chef within this  highly successful, renowed restaurant and cocktail bar with a reputation for exceptional food and service. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join a professional team of 20 experienced chefs running one of the country’s most respected and vibrant eateries. The Head Chef will report to our hands on Executive Chef.

The successful Head Chef must have:

•    Worked in a high volume/quality restaurant producing exceptional food at speed
•    A genuine passion & expert product knowledge of Italian/Mediterranean cuisine
•    Experience in menu development
•    Outstanding leadership, organisation and communication skills
•    The ability to generate respect and manage the brigade of 20 chefs
•    Complete commitment to the job accompanied with a good sense of humour
•    Inventive & confident with excellent explanatory and presentational skills
•    Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
•    Experience in maintaining food safety and all other statutory related company procedure

This is an exceptional Head Chef position for a strong candidate who has previously worked within high end hospitality and has extensive experience in Italian cuisine. You will have previously managed large sized teams, lead by example and ensure your team performs to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have recent high end restaurant experience and extensive experience in managing work schedules, suppliers and controlling stock to improve company profitability.
