Bailey Finch Associates have pleasure in assisting our client with the role of IT Business Partner.
The role involves:
To be part of a business focused IT team to delivery strategic business IT solutions in conjunction with ITSD shared services, identifying and implementing opportunities to work with common processes.
Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management. Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships. Implements a communications strategy, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information appropriately.
Your responsibilities
Engages with customers and stakeholders to seek and record their opinions about products and services supplied.
Assesses feedback to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management, and highlights issues which need to be addresses.
Works with customers and stakeholders, seeking to develop and enhance relationships.
Implements communications strategies, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and appropriate dissemination of relevant information appropriately.
Formulation of IT Strategic plans to meet business objectives
Defining and agreeing the levels of IT services required
Promoting the use and exploitation of IT
Redesigning business processes and procedures to improve performance
Preparing the business case for new investment (both capital and revenue)
Prioritising each business project
In conjunction with other ITBP’s define common solutions where appropriate
Agreeing IT service and project costs with the business and IT suppliers
Manage business IT projects using project methodology and change management practices
Advising on IT options and costs for specification in contracts
Authorise IT system requests for staff
Demonstrate through behaviour, adherence to the Corporate Code of Conduct throughout all business activities.
Review and selection of OU projects
IT Budgets
Preparation of reports as required
Skills and Experience & Qualifications
Displays good inter-personal skills, demonstrating the ability to relate to customers in their own language.
Has project and/or change management experience on technology based projects and/or programmes.
Experience of working within an Operating Unit at a Senior level
Working knowledge of OU Business Processes and Practices
Ideally education to degree level.
Experience in a similar IT and Managerial role.
Recognised construction industry experience.
Recognised Project Management experience.
Your Qualities
Car-driver with valid full licence.
