Data Warehouse Developer (ETL)

Our client requires a Data Warehouse Developer in the Dublin

The successful candidate will endeavour’s to deliver a standardized data warehousing and reporting framework to enable Customer’s technology users globally to view and report on a variety of operational and inventory data sources in a centralized place and in a consistent way. To be suitable for this position you must have a track record of working effectively within a team along side having the ability to work with minimal supervision, to take ownership of tasks and overcome any obstacles.

Due to the nature of this position the suitable candidate will have the following Technical knowledge/experience:

• Strong development experience using the Microsoft BI (2005/2008) stack.
• Strong T-SQL development experience.
• Strong experience with SSIS developing end to end ETL processes for large scale data warehouse.
•  Experience using other data sources like Sybase, Oracle, DB2, flat files, web services and message queues in SSIS.
• Good experience designing and developing SSAS cubes.
• Working knowledge of SSRS.
• Knowledge of data modelling techniques (Kimball preferred).

As a Data Warehouse Developer for our client, you will be required to show the ability to strive with key responsibilities such as; Developing and maintaining new and existing ETL processes using SSIS and T-SQL, designing and implementing solutions that meet key requirements for audit, data quality, performance, scalability and security. As well as analysing the system interface requirements and production of technical specifications to work from and/or provide to other ETL resources.
