My client, based within South Hampshire, is looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to conceive, evaluate and apply solutions within an engineering context.
They have an impressive expansion plan based on a full order book and require a Mechanical Design Engineer with a broad understanding of mechanical engineering design concepts gained from both qualifications and experience of taking concepts to a conclusion as well as the experience of overseeing the work of a highly skilled design team.
You will need the ability to undertake general stress/sizing calculations. write technical reports for testing/development, produce technical documentation including design/feasibility studies and specifications,method statements, calculation sheets, operation and maintenance manuals etc. and an interest in testing and commissioning equipment you have designed.
