The Production Engineer’s role will include the following:
Dealing with customer enquiries and braking them down into labour hours, material values and tooling costs for the purpose of quotations and customers
They will also determine the methods, machines, tooling and processes required to produce the company products
Contract reviews & continuous improvement
Ensure health and safety and environmental policies and culture are adhered to
The Successful Production Engineer’s role will include the following skills/experience:
Experience in an aerospace, engineering or manufacturing environment
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Liaising and negotiating with customers and other outside contractors
Determining methods, tooling and processes and types of equipment required for manufacturing components to meet customer needs
Ability to keep up to date on new methods/processes/equipment and products available
