Bailey Finch Associates are currently assisting our client for the role of Fabric Engineer/Handyperson within their business.

The job objectives and responsibilities are:

• Responsible for maintenance to general building office fabric, and support to the mobile engineering team. For the completion of planned maintenance tasks within the proven ability of the individual and through appropriate training.

Main duties

• Provide general assistance to the technical members and the rest of the contract team, as and when necessary.

• Ensure the timely delivery of general building / office fabric maintenance and controlling sub-contractors to site.

• Support the building Manager on a day to day bases.

• Provide maintenance tasks involving internal fixtures, such as furniture, window blinds, painted surfaces, windows and sanitary fittings and external features including roofs and decking, landscaped areas, external cladding and gutter and rain water collection systems .

• To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time

• To understand and comply with policies and procedures

• To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner

• To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures

• To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required

• Communicates well (verbally and in writing) with colleagues and clients

• Builds effective working relationships
