Data Warehouse Developer (BI)

Our client requires a Software Developer in the Dublin area to work on a one year contract within the Data Warehouse & Reporting Team.

The successful candidate will have many key responsibilities, including Analysis of BI requirements and production of technical specifications, assisting with overall design and development of a new custom user interface for reporting application. As well as using SSRS and .NET that meets key requirements for user-self-service, performance, scalability, audit and security. You will be required to develop and maintain new and existing canned reports using SSRS, while working closely with end users to help them with any issues in their self-service reports.

Due to the nature of this position the suitable candidate will have the following Technical knowledge/experience:

• Strong BI development experience using the Microsoft BI (2005/2008) stack.
• Strong experience in T-SQL development.
• Strong experience designing and developing SSRS reports.
• Good experience designing and developing SSAS cubes.
• Working knowledge of SSIS.
• Some .NET development experience.
• Knowledge of data modelling techniques (Kimball preferred)
• Experience with BI tools including Performance Point, Business Objects and QlikView a plus

As a Software Developer for our client, you will be required to show the ability to work with minimal supervision, to take ownership of tasks and overcome any obstacles as well as having the capability to meet challenging deadlines.
