Our client is a driven SME business and they are currently seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer.   Your background will be having worked in the plumbing sector, as either an employee or self employed.  You will have a clean driving licenced to be able to undertake regular travel to customer premises within the south east, mainly within the M25.

The main responsibilities of the position will be providing an excellent level of Technical support to customers.  Visiting UK customer premises to identify and resolve technical issues.  Dealing with telephone queries/enquiries from UK and overseas customers.  Pro-actively resolving technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.  Working as part of the team, providing technical advice and support to colleagues   General administrative duties within the department  You will be interacting with both UK and Overseas Customers.  Other departments that you will work alongside on a regular basis are warehouse, Transport, Internal Sales and External Sales.  You will also liaise with other sites within the business group.

It is essential that you have extensive plumbing knowledge and experience, have a proactive and professional approach and be able to communicate clearly by telephone, email and face to face to resolve queries or technicalities and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied with the company service.  You will be a confident communicator and have a clear telephone manner. 

Excellent attention to detail, be a good team player. Good organisation skills to be able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and to manage and prioritise tasks for yourself team and the business.  It is essential that you have first class IT/Computer skills which include Word and Excel. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.  Excellent attention to detail.  A good team player who is able to work well within a team.  Flexible to assist and support other members of the team or company.
