We are looking to recruit a Chef de Partie to work in an Award Winning restaurant. You must be able to offer previous experience of working in a Fine Dining restaurant as a Chef de Partie , carrying out a similar job role. The successful candidate must be able to offer the ability to work on their own and have the confidence to carry out duties to a high standard at all times.

All food is prepared to an extremely high standard, and therefore requires a chef who has previous experience of working within hotels or Fine Dining restaurants, and can offer the client a high level of maturity and ambition.

Duties:

  • To prepare all dishes for lunch, dinner and function menus.
  • Responsible for ensuring all mise en place is completed prior to service.
  • To work closely within a talented brigade of chefs to continuously make improvements.
  • Ensure presentation, taste and quantities are maintained.
  • To ensure the menu is kept in line with customer demands and feedback.
  • To use the correct ingredients that are specified by the Head Chef to ensure quality is upheld at all times.
  • To ensure that all preparation and menu dishes are created to the high standard expected by the client.

Personal Specification:

The successful candidate must be able to offer the following skills & abilities:

  • Previous experience of working at a Chef de Partie level within a Fine Dining Hotel & Restaurant.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and service levels.
  • Effective communication with guests and members of staff.
  • A drive, flair and creativity with a very strong eye for detail.
  • A well rounded knowledge of seasonal, local produce.
  • The ability to work on your own and without supervision.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef who is looking to enhance their experience and work their way up to a Senior level, in an establishment where expectations and standards are set to an extremely high standard.

The hours of work vary and will include shifts, weekends and bank holidays therefore applicants must have the ability to work flexibly.
