The Production Operator is responsible to the “Operations Manager” for activity relating to the production of , PCB’s,
Within the Production area the Production Operator will :
1. Assemble PCB’s and
2. Produce prototype units to Engineering sketches and instructions.
Training will be provided against an agreed development plan, which will seek to build the individuals existing knowledge of Production techniques, to support the individual so that high performance can be achieved
Qualifications and Experience.
- Have worked in a production environment, utilizing assembly and PCB soldering skills to a high standard, including the capability to work with surface mount components. In addition the ability to read electrical and mechanical assembly drawings and have a proven ability to participate in solving problems in the Production environment.
- IPC-A-610 or similar qualifications or similar would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes would be an advantage.
